Our Leadership Model

Shizenkan aims to nurture well-grounded whole-person management leaders and contribute to the realization of humane, equitable, inclusive, and sustainable society. The following model describes the four competencies of whole-person leadership. Our education programs are designed to develop these abilities and qualities. 

Competency EN

Individual Willpower
The capacity to acquire a sense of mission, act with vision and at the same time continue to grow as a person through constant self-awareness and questioning.

Whole-person ability to be grounded
The ability to demonstrate consistent decisions and actions in accordance with one’s own principles, based on a deep insight into the nature of history and society and awareness as a member of the society.

Managerial ability to envision
The ability to conceive of new business, organizational and management approaches from the perspective of a manager or entrepreneur, while maintaining a high level of perspective and a long-term view.

Leader’s ability to realize
The ability to drive change and innovation by leading oneself, engaging sincerely with people, and gaining their empathy and trust.
